EVELYN SANDERS ALDRIDGE

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Sanders Aldridge are scheduled for 
10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held 
Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Aldridge, age 79 and a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, 
March 16, 2011. She was a retired school bus driver and of the Baptist faith. 
Mrs. Aldridge was a member of the Collinston Garden Club and an avid bird 
watcher. She was also an artist for many years. 

Mrs. Aldridge is preceded in death by her husband, James Clarence Aldridge; 
parents, Samuel Felton and Oweoita Lee Sanders; and grandson, Donald Ray 
Aldridge II. 

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Aldridge Milam and husband Dennis of 
Bastrop, LA; son, Donald Ray Aldridge of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Joyce 
Smithson and husband E.G. of North Carolina, Samlee Armitage and husband Tom of 
Georgia, Elizabeth "Beth" Lowenthal and husband Robert of Alabama; three 
grandchildren, Katie Bayless, Matthew Milam and wife Morgan, Daniel Milam and 
wife Tiffany; and six great grandchildren, Kievan James Bayless, Hayleigh 
Bayless, Madison Milam, Casey Ruffin, Parker Milam, and Evan Milam.
