Golden Funeral Home - November 2008
WANDA JOYCE MCINTYRE ALDRIDGE

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Joyce McIntyre Aldridge, age 78, are scheduled 
for 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home 
with Rev. Rosemary Stelz officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park 
Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Aldridge passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 in Hammond, LA. She was a 
resident of Bastrop, formerly of Metairie, LA. She was a homemaker but had also 
worked as a nurse at Charity Hospital in New Orleans and as a librarian at a 
private school in Metairie. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in 
Bastrop and Metairie Ridge Presbyterian Church in Metairie. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill M. Aldridge and her parents, John 
C. & Zoletta McIntyre. 

She is survived by five children, David Aldridge & wife Darlene of Metairie, 
LA, John Aldridge & wife Susan of Independence, LA, William Aldridge of 
Bastrop, LA, Kimberly Brown & husband Drew of Baton Rouge, LA, Pamela Eickel & 
husband Charles of Grand Prairie, TX; nine grandchildren; and four great 
grandchildren
