CAROLYN JANE HALTERMAN ANDERSON


Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Anderson are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, 
October 15, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Legg 
officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove South Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens.

Mrs. Anderson passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the age of eighty-two. 
She loved her family and her church, Faith Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA. she 
especially loved decorating the church for all different occasions. She loved 
arranging flowers and traveling as well.  

She is survived by her children, Jerry Michael Anderson and wife Brenda of 
Monroe, LA, Gregory Karl Anderson and wife Nancy of Farmerville, LA, Cynthia 
Murphy and husband Greg of Crossett, AR, Jason K. Anderson and wife Lori of 
Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Blake Anderson, Hope Anderson Fruge’ and husband 
Heath, Heith Anderson and fiancee Amelia, Jerred Anderson and wife Ashley, 
Amelia Yeldell and husband Whit, Callie Bridges and husband Luke, Zac Shawhan 
and wife Faith, Tinsley Bernstein and husband Colton; great grandchildren, 
Landry Fruge’, Presley Anderson, Peyton Anderson, Baylor Anderson, Ellis 
Anderson, Briar Yeldell, Barrett Yeldell, Jude Shawhan, and Samuel Shawhan.

Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Anderson; parents, 
Clyde Wilton Haltermanand Marie Montgomery; and brother, Wilton Halterman.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Heith Anderson, Jerred Anderson, Whit 
Yeldell, Zac Shawhan, Blake Anderson, and Colton Bernstein.
