George Delamar officiating. Mrs Andrews, a retired employee of Oak Woods Home for the Elderly, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007 at St. Francis North Hospital. She was born in Goodwill, LA but lived most of her life in Bastrop. She is loved and will be missed by all. She is survived by a son, James Michael Strange and wife Pat of Highland, TX; son-in-law, Billy Ray of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Eddie Myree Delamar and husband George of Bastrop, LA, Shirley Freeman and husband Wallace of West Monroe, LA, Debbie Hicks of Austin, TX; brothers, Jesse Hicks and wife Flora of Collinston, LA, Louis Hicks of Marshall, TX; Ronnie Hicks of Horseshoe, LA, Eddie Hicks of Jones, LA; seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Diane Ray; two brothers, James William Hicks, Dallas Hicks; two sisters-in-law, Marguerite (Tiny) Hicks and Mildred Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Gray Hickman, Johnny Ray Freeman, Tony Herrington, Gerald Lester and Louis Hicks II. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
