Golden Funeral Home - April 2015
C.M. ARMFIELD

Funeral services for Mr. C. M. Armfield are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, May 1, 2015
at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Myrick officiating. Interment
will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Armfield, age 81, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. He was a retired
insurance agent and a member of the Hillview Freewill Baptist Church. He was an avid
reader of westerns and enjoyed fishing and he loved his family and spending time
with them.

He is preceded in death by parents, D. and Birdie Armfield; brother, Edward
Armfield; daughter, Vicki White; granddaughter, Dee Kinard; grandson, Greg Armfield;
and brother-in-law, Leon O'Rear.

Mr. C. M. is survived by his wife, Opal Armfield; four daughters, Toni Morgan of
Texas, Cheryl Brown and husband David, of Meridian, MS, Darlene Kinard and husband
Richard, of Tallulah, LA, and Sonya Britt and husband Dan, of Calhoun, LA; two sons,
DeWayne Armfield, of Bastrop, LA, and Leon Armfield, of Calhoun, LA; one sister,
Earline O'Rear, of Pioneer, LA; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty-five
great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, J. D. Armfield, Eric Armfield, Matt Brown,
Caleb White, Allen Brown, and Zane Graves.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 5 until 8 PM at Golden Funeral
Home.
