LEON EDWARD ARMFIELD


Funeral services for Leon Edward Armfield are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, August 
15, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. 
The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM.

Mr. Armfield was born January 8, 1964, in Bastrop, LA, and passed away August 
11, 2022, in Monroe, LA, at the age of fifty-eight. He is survived by his son, 
Mitchell Vincent and wife, Audy of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren, Mitchell Paul 
Vincent II, Easton Paul Vincent, Ember Leigh Vincent, and Ryder Scott Harper; 
mother, Opal Armfield of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Sonya Britt and husband, Dan of 
Eros, LA, Darlene Kinard and husband Richard of Tallulah, LA; numerous nieces, 
nephews, and friends who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Armfield; father, C.M. Armfield; son, 
Gregory Harper; brother, Dewayne Armfield; and sisters, Cheryl Brown and Vickie 
White.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be JD Armfield, Eric Armfield, Jamie 
Walsworth, Mickey Joe Jarnevich, Rey Scott and Scott Harwell.
