BETTY LOU DIEL ASHLEY

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Diel Ashley, 80, of Knoxville, 
TN, formerly of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday September 4, 2006 
at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Bill Boruff officiating. 
Mrs. Ashley, a homemaker, passed away Friday, September 1, 2006 at Park West 
Medical Center in Knoxville. 
She is survived by her husband Rhodell H. Ashley; two daughters, Tonyia Osborne 
and husband Joe of Lewisburg, TN, Saundra Ellis and husband Jeff of Knoxville, 
TN; two sons, Michael Ashley and wife Susan of Chesterhill, OH, Mark Ashley and 
wife Sylvia of Waco, TX; sister, Berdie Henley of Villa Rica, GA; nineteen 
grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. 
Mrs. Ashley is preceded in death by her parents, Bunnie Short Diel and Cora Lee 
Hart Diel and a son, Marvin Travis Ashley. 
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Monday, September 4, 2006 
at Golden Funeral Home.
