C. BYRON ATKINS


A memorial service for Mr. C. Byron Atkins, age 71, will be held at 3 PM Sunday, 
July 20, 2014 at First United Methodist Church in Monroe with Rev. Lynn Malone 
and Rev. J. Roddy Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 PM 
until service time Sunday at the church.    


Mr. Atkins, a resident of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, July 16 in Monroe, LA. 
Mr. Atkins was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Atkins is preceded 
in death by his parents, Cecil and Irene Montgomery Atkins.    


Mr. Atkins is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sara Elizabeth "Sarabeth" 
Atkins; sister-in-law, Marion Yarbrough and husband Paul of Houston, TX; 
brother-in-law, James Robert "Jim" Ferguson and wife Annelle of Clinton, TN; 
nephews, Douglas Yarbrough and wife Bianka of Bastrop, LA, Robert Allen Ferguson 
of Portland, OR, John Ferguson and wife Cherie of Atlanta, GA; a niece, Kristen 
F. Beckler and husband Ryan of Pacifica, CA; and a special cousin, Bill 
Timerlake and wife Jill of Dallas, TX.    


Honorary pallbearers will be Members of the Aldersgate Sunday School Class.
