BARKER Funeral services for James C. Barker, 24 of Collinston are being held today at 2:30 p.m. in the Golden Funeral Home with the Rev. J.E. Allen officiating. Interment will be in Carter Cemetery. Mr. Barker died from multiple injuries suffered when the auto he was driving over-turned three times near Monroe Sunday. He was born March 11, 1950 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.V. Barker of Collinston; one sister, Mrs. Roy W. Bush of Swartz; one brother, Tommy Paul Barker of Collinston; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Johnston of Collinston; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter of Hawthorne, Fla. Pallbearers listed are Larry Crymes, John Allen Crymes, Frank Wheeler, Joe Crenshaw, Bardell Bostick and Ted Fontenot.
