BARNES Fred L. Barnes, 63, of Farmerville, died at 5:15 in Morehouse Genral Monday after a long illness. He was the brother-in-law of J.B. Golden of Bastrop. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville with Rev. Harvey Hoffman officiating. He was a World War II. veteran and a native of Farmerville where he had lived most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nell Golden Barnes; one son, Robert S. Barnes of Birmingham, Ala.; his mother, Mrs. L.H. Barnes of Ruston; three brothers, L.H. Barnes of Temple, Texas, H.G. Barnes of Dallas, Texas and S.E. Barnes of San Francisco, Calif., and two grandchildren. The body will lie in state at Kilpatrick's from 2 p.m. today until service time on Wednesday.
