Stan Wyant officiating. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Jacquelyn was born November 2, 1941 at Fairfield, Iowa to the late James Andrew Spensley and Florence Harris Spensley. Ms. Beal passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020, following an extended illness, at LeGrand Healtcare in Bastrop. Jacquelyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Bastrop and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. She received her degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Therapy and retired after teaching in numerous states and school systems. She enjoyed theatre and during her college years she acted and participated in numerous productions. Ms. Beal had a gentle spirit and a love for all God's creatures especially cats. Jacqueline is survived by her son, Jamie Beal of Coquill, Oregon and her brother, James A. Spensley of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is also survived by cousins Bobby Williams and his wife Terry of Bastrop, Louisiana, Sandra Gray and her husband Charles of Lufkin, Texas, and Nancy Grant and her husband Ken of Wake Forest, North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
