SARAH ISABEL BERRY

Mrs. Sarah Isabel Berry, age 85, died about midnight Sunday at Hickory Manor 
Nursing Home, following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Golden Funeral 
Home, with the Reverend Conrad Edwards officating. Interment will follow in 
Christ Church Cemetery.

Mrs. berry was born in Drew County, Ark., and had resided in Bastrop 50 years. 
She was a member of the United Memorial Methodist Church, and was a former 
school teacher and home demonstration agent.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Berry Owens of Jena and Mrs. Sarah 
Berry Ellis of Greenville, Miss.; one brother, Fred Gladden of Warren, Ark.; 
four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
