William Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Red Wing Cemetery near Oak Grove. Mrs. Blackledge, a homemaker, died Sunday, December 5, 2004 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Blackledge; three sisters, Asha Marie Bolton Hicks, Doris Loree Kennedy and Alice Marie Holley; two brothers, Dewey Irby and James E. Irby; and a great grandson, Dillon Kyle Moore. Mrs. Blackledge is survived by a daughter, Joycie Mae Tarry and husband Tommy of Roswell, N.M.; a son, James H. Blackledge and wife Ruth Ann of Midland, Texas; three sisters, Helen Lucille Miller of Pineland, Texas, Georgia Ethel Deal of Monroe and Ida Mae Mercer of Oak Grove; a brother, Jessie Irby of Bastrop; three grandchildren, Michael Blackledge, Jamie Moore and Shane Tarry; and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lynn Miller, Dennis Irby, Shane Tarry, Andrew Tarry, Thomas Tarry and James Jones. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home.
