WILLIE JAY BLACKWELL

Funeral services for Willie Jay Blackwell, former, but well-known Bastrop citizen 
will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m..  The Celebration will 
be held at Greater Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Mozell Smith 
serving as officiant.  "The Gathering of Family and Friends" will be held at 
Greater Magnolia from ten a.m. to the time of service. The interment will follow 
the service in the St. Joe Cemetery in Bonita.
