Officiating were the Reverend Ed Barksdale and the Reverend Darrell Streeter. Interment followed in the Christ Church Cemetery. Mr. Boone wa a life long resident of Morehouse Parish and a member of the First United Methodist Church, the National Accountants Society and the National Camellia Society. Survivirs include his wife, Mrs. Hugh D. Boone of Bastrop; one brother, L.B. Boone of Alto; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Hogan of Hamburg, Ark., Mrs. Mattie Lee Linzay of Transylvania and Mrs. Eva V. McDonald of Pulaski, Tenn. Serving as pallbearers were Van Lee Sr., Woodrow Wilson, Harold Naff, Jack Millikin, Ray Norris, Tommy Crorry, Jim Bob Crorry and Jack Blanks.
