Golden Funeral Home - February 2015
KAREN V. BOYD

Funeral services for Karen V. Boyd, age 61, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday,
February 18, 2015 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Reynolds
officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held
Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.

Ms. Boyd, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at
Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe. She was employed as a nursing home
housekeeper.

Ms. Boyd is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Annie Day; sister, Sally Day
Ricks; and brother, Courtney Day.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Reynolds and husband Christopher of Bastrop,
LA; son, Terry Boyd of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Jacquelyn Gray of Brookhaven, MS;
brother, David Day and wife Georgia of Beekman, LA; and six grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gregory Felts, William Felts, Kevin Day, Devon
Hughes, John Shono, and Timothy Reynolds. Charles Hutchison is an honorary
pallbearer.
