CORLEY ELISABETH BRACKIN

Corley Elisabeth Brackin was born in Monroe, LA on October 24, 2018 to Valerie 
M. Hill and Haylon D. Brackin. She gained her angel wings on January 18, 2020 at 
the age of 14 months.  

Corley was preceded in death by her namesakes, great-grandmothers Elisabeth 
Kelly Swanner and Marilyn Corley Hill and her great grandfathers Thomas Kelley 
and Carroll O. Hill.

She was survived by her mother, Valerie M. Hill and is survived by her father, 
Haylon D. Brackin and her half-brother, Jasce Brackin. Other survivors include 
her paternal grandparents, Doug and Bonnie Brackin of West Monroe, and maternal 
grandparents, John and Terry Hill of Bastrop and a host of other loving 
relatives.  Corley was a happy baby whose smile and bright eyes could light up a 
room and melt hearts.  She was “Moonpie” to her  Mimi and “Corley-Q” to her 
Mimzy but she’s now known as one of God’s precious angels.  

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Wednesday, January 22 at 
Golden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, 
January 23 at North Church-Bastrop, 358 Holt St, with Bro. Steve Speer, Bro. 
Kevin Crimm, and Bro. Louis Bartet officiating. Interment will follow in 
Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Mike Brackin and Clay Norwood.
