Friday, June 8, 2012 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, Bastrop, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Paul Carter along with Bro. Ruben Weaver, pastor of Faith Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bastrop. Judy was born December 20, 1951 in Bastrop to Jimmie and Dorothy Mayo Blackman and is preceded in death by her father. Judy passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2012 in Tulsa, OK where she had undergone treatment.She had devoted her life to her family, her career and spending her time with numerous friends and relatives. She had worked as office manager in the automobile industry, serving the last decade at Sparks Nissan-Kia in Monroe, LA. She was regarded as one of the most highly qualified in her field, and was loved by all who worked with her. Judy is survived by her husband, Keith Ivy Bradford; her mother, Dorothy Ann Mayo Blackman; daughter, Shelly Stewart Brabston and husband Tom; granddaughters, Lauren and Taylor Brabston; sister, Janet Blackman Harper and niece Breanna Harper; step-sons, Mike Bradford and wife Angie, Bill Bradford and wife Jennie, Jonathan Bradford and wife Gwen, George Bradford and wife Phensri; a step-daughter, Charlotte Bradford and eight step-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Hayman, Greg Hayman, Larry Blackman, David Haddock, Hymie Bradford, George Bradford, K.C. Priest and John H. Harper. Honorary pallbearers are George Clark, William Sparks, Will Shelby, Justin Yerger, Steve Beasley and Bro. David Chapman.
