JAMIE SANDERLIN BRODIE

Mer Rouge, LA. Funeral services for Mrs. Jamie Sanderlin Brodie will be held 
4:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Mer 
Rouge, Louisiana. Interment and committal will follow at Mer Rouge Cemetery 
under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.

The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time for 
services at the church.

Jamie Sanderlin Brodie was born June 22, 1933 in Monticello, Arkansas to the 
late James Tracy Sanderlin and Helen Grace Hogue Sanderlin. Mrs. Brodie 
passed away peacefully October 4, 2014 in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. She was a 
member of the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Mer Rouge, Louisiana.

Mrs. Brodie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Brodie; her son, 
Kenneth Brodie, Jr. and his companion, Ben Nobles and daughter, Tracey 
Philley and her husband, Lannie Philley all of Mer Rouge, Louisiana. She is 
also survived by two grandsons, Christopher Davis of Manhattan, New York, 
and Shelton Davis of Denver, Colorado; granddaughter, Sara Philley Edwards 
and her husband, Jon of Deberry, Texas; and a special niece, Lynn Salhaney 
of Franklin, Tennessee.

For those who wish the family suggest memorials be made to St. Andrew's 
Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 65, Mer Rouge, LA. 71261 or to the charity of the 
donor's choice .
