LOIS SHELTON BROWN

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Shelton Brown, age 82, are scheduled for 10 
a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. 
Bruce Anders officiating. Interment will follow in Hamburg Cemetery, Hamburg, 
AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Brown, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. She was a 
member of Central Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian and 
loved her church. Mrs. Brown was a very caring person and took care of 
everyone, often neglecting her own needs to put others first. She loved her 
family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Charles William Brown; daughter, 
Rebecca Brown Spencer and husband Michael Dan of Bastrop; son, Mike Brown of 
Bastrop; four grandchildren, Shelley Fisher and husband Chad, Charles Spencer 
and wife Katrina, John Spencer and wife Amanda, Kelsey Spencer; and five great 
grandchildren, Madison Fisher, Zoey Fisher, Charles Spencer, Jr., Katelyn 
Spencer, and Callie-Ann Spencer. 

She is preceded in death by her Mom, Dad, Step-mother, two brothers, and two 
sisters.
