Jeff May officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM Monday, March 14, at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Brown, resident of Bastrop and salesman at Parker Paper Company for 33 years, was a great husband, father and Paw Paw and he loved his family and friends. He loved hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR and riding his RZR. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Angie Brown; daughters, Jenifer Finn & husband Keith of Monticello, AR, Sue Ann Johnson & husband Michael of Bastrop, LA, April Brown of Bastrop, LA, Amelia Montgomery of Bastrop, LA, & Alyssa Montgomery of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Amanda Patton & husband Cliff of Monroe, LA, Lunar New & husband Joey of Sterlington, LA; brothers, Karl Brown & wife T.J. of Lubbock, TX, Alan Brown & wife Valerie of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Cameron Brown, Alexander Brown, Zackery Finn, Lily Lolley, Hunter Johnson, Logan Walker & Emerson Walker. Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents, Emery & Elaine Brown; grandparents, Deward & Lunar Brown, Bill & Juanita Caldwell. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Honeycutt, Kenny Ray Riles, Casey Green, Joe Kinney, Matt Kinney, Carter Craft, Randy Winnon & Donnie Harrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyler McMilleon, Trey Riles & Joey New. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, OK, in memory of Charles Brown, because of how well they cared for him during his illness.
