Born on May 5, 1951, in Bastrop, Louisiana, Francis was the cherished daughter of Buell Edgar Ruffin and Myrtis Marie Gray. Her early years were filled with the rich tapestry of Southern life, which instilled in her the values of family, faith, and community that would define her life. Francis was a dedicated Store Manager of Whataburger for 27 years. She was a gifted seamstress, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and meticulous attention to detail. Sewing was not just a pastime for Francis; it was a way of capturing memories and creating legacies through the stitches of each garment she crafted. Her love for her church was profound, and her faith was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life. Francis's role as a wife, mother, and grandmother was where she shone brightest, infusing every family gathering with laughter and love. She is preceded in death by her parents Buell and Myrtis Ruffin; and numerous brothers and sisters. Francis is the cherished wife of Marvin Bullock, to whom she was married for 55 years, a relationship that stood as a pillar of strength and devotion. Together, they built a family that became Francis's pride and joy. She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Satterfield and husband Robert of Flower Mound, Texas; her son, Marvin Bullock, Jr. and wife Susan of Cleburne, Texas; her sisters, Mary Scott and Helen Louise Chambers; as well as five adoring grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense happiness and fulfillment to her life. Funeral services to celebrate Francis Bullock's life are to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Wilson Family Cemetery in Elkhart, Texas. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of service. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeremy Redfern, Robert Satterfield, Nicholas Beadles, Jody Beadles, and Joshua Bullock.
