Reverend Allen Eppinette will officiate the services. Committal services and interment will follow at the Hughes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Visitation with the family will be held from 1 p.m. until time for services at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 5th, at Harmony Baptist Church. Michael LeRoy Campbell was born February 24, 1963 in Taipei, Taiwan to Marjory LaRue Campbell and the late John Henry Campbell. He passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2015 at his home in Bastrop. Mike was a patriotic American and a proud native of Ohio. He enjoyed all sports competition and studying military history. He shared his enthusiasm for for NASCAR, football, basketball, baseball and all things Ohio State with his son. Mike was a kind, patient, and loving person. He always looked to the positive side and sought out the good nature in others. A stay-at-home dad, Mike's life was devoted to his son, Adrian Michael, and the love of his life, his wife Jennifer. He always started the day with a kind and affectionate word for his wife and son. He blessed his family with his loving spirit. Surviving Mike are his wife, Jennifer Hughes Campbell, and their son, Adrian Michael Campbell of Bastrop. He is also survived by his mother, Marjory Campbell of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; three brothers, John Henry Campbell, Jr. and James Ralph Campbell, both of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Ronald Allen Campbell and Sandy Stultz of Grove City, Ohio; mother and father-in-law, Candy and Dennis Hughes of Bastrop; two brothers-in-law, Stanton Hughes and Clay Hughes, and his wife, Hayley, all of Bastrop; three nieces, Jessie Campbell, Jamie Mata, and Crissy Campbell; four nephews, Ronnie Campbell, Landon Hughes, Justice Hughes, Chandler Hughes, and Barrett Hughes; and a great-niece, Olivia Mata. Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Herrington, Ty Simmons, Justin Gross, Ashton Hughes, Spencer Hughes and Mike Gholson. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Josh Sims and Eric Hughes.
