GOLDEN FUNERAL HOME  - JULY 4, 2019
MARVA DELL WILLIAMS CARNES


Funeral services for Mrs. Marva Dell Carnes are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, 
July 9, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Akers 
officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends Monday, July 8, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Goldens.

Mrs. Carnes, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019, at 
the age of eighty-one. She served her country as a United States Marine and was 
a Christian woman who loved God and her family. Mrs. Carnes loved to play Bingo 
and will be remembered as the giving person she was.

She is survived by her children, Janet Johnson Merlen, Sherry Foster and husband 
Scott, Carol Crymes and husband Bruce, James Carnes and wife Amanda, Amanda 
Malone and husband Brian; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great 
grandchildren.

Mrs. Carnes is preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Hubert Williams; 
brother, Billy Williams; and friend, Glenda Carlton.

Serving as pallbearers are Joel Correro, Scott Foster, Brian Malone, Chase 
Sebren, Dusty Crymes, Christian Carnes.
