Monica Kay Carr, 62, of Bastrop, LA, departed this life on Tuesday, December 23, 
2025 at her residence in Bastrop, LA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 
January 3, 2026, at the Morehouse Baptist Association Building in Bastrop, LA at 
2:30 PM.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 02, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 
6:00 PM at New Morning Star B. C. in Bastrop, LA. Burial will follow at Trousdale 
Cemetery in Bastrop, LA, under the direction of Mitchell Funerals and Cremations 
of Bastrop, LA.
