Stan Wyant officiating. Sybil was born September 20, 1934 in Pioneer, Louisiana to Aubrey and Ollie Jackson Witcher. She had four sisters and two brothers. Sybil went home to her Lord and Savior on the morning of Saturday, November 22, 2025. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Robinson, the father of her four children, and her second husband, Glenn Carter; as well as her son, Aubrey Robinson; and grandsons, Adam Robinson and Josh Robinson. She is survived by her sisters, Thelma Thompson and Geneva Farrington; her daughter, Belinda Hooton; and sons, Chris Robinson and Shawn Robinson; eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, as well as dozens of nieces and nephews. Sybil loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. Her yard was her happy place, whether she was tending to one of her hundreds of plants and flowers, mowing or raking leaves, or just spending time in God's creation. She also loved to bake cookies, cakes, and pies, that will not only be missed by her family, but also by several Bastrop businesses and doctor's offices, as she was known for arriving to most appointments with homemade baked goods. Sybil had a fantastic sense of humor, an infectious smile, a sharp wit, and a strong faith in Jesus. She was an incredible mom, mamaw, sister, aunt, and mother in law. She was a friend to all and loved by everyone who knew her. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Tyler Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Hunter Robinson, Adam Metz, Jeremy Robinson, and Collin Robinson.
