N.W. CAUSEY

OAK GROVE - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First 
Baptist Church of Oak Grove for the Rev. N.W. Causey.

Rev. Causey, 58, died Tuesday at his farm near Oak Grove after an apparent heart 
attack.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Lee of Alexandria. Interment will 
follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of 
Oak Grove.

The Rev. Causey had served as pastor of the church since 1963. He attended 
Louisiana College in Pineville and New Orleans Seminary. He was a retired 
commander of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Mae of Oak Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Byrd 
of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Mrs. Naomi Cardill of Nigeria; his mother, Mrs. 
Lillie Mae Waller of Bossier City; one sister, Mrs. H.J. Entman of Texarkana, 
Texas and four grandsons

The active deacons of First Baptist Church will act as pallbearers. All other 
deacons will act as honorary pallbearers.
