ARLENA CHRISTIAN-BROWN

Arlena Christian-Brown was a devoted and faithful wife, loving mother, 
grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She peacefully 
departed this life on Saturday, May 22, 2010 and was preceded in death by her 
parents, West and Classie Christian; her husband, Ross Brown; two sisters, 
Leatha Christian and Annie Mae Christian; one brother, the Reverend L.M. 
Christian; and one great-grandchild, Keyshauna Glosson.

Arlena leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Cleveland Christian of 
Oakland, Calif. and Norvell Christian (Deloris) of Bonita; three sisters, 
Armer McCloud, Ethel Bea Norris and Frankie Mack, all of Bastrop; her five 
sons, Henry James Brown, Julius Cleophus Christian (Dorothy), Frank Morgan 
Christian (Bridget, of Las Vegas, Nev., Larry Levell Christian (Angela) of 
Forest Hills, Texas and Wesley Donnell Christian (Elenor) of Irving, Texas; 
three daughters, Erma Lee Brown and Minnie Lou Daniels of Bastrop and Ruth 
Brown pf Los Angeles, Calif. She also leaves 19 grandchildren, 13 great-
grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one godson, .....(Theresa) 
Mitchell of Bastrop; special persons in her life, Deborah Lambert, Larry 
Daniels and Jessie Devall, along with a host of nieces, nephes, cousins and 
other relatives and the Eastern Star Lodge Christine Chapel 660 and the entire 
Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church family.

Arlena's funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. 
Like Baptist Church in Bonita. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery, 
Bonita under the direction of Loche's Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 
from 6 -7p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at Day of Pentecost Full Gospel Church, 
1602 W. Madison Ave., Bastrop.
