Golden Funeral Home - March 2016
LORENE GARDNER CHUNN

Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene G. Chunn, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10 
AM, Friday, March 25, 2016, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. 
Ezra Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Liberty Church Cemetery, 
Linville, LA.

Mrs. Chunn, a homemaker, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at the age 
of eighty-nine. She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Chunn; her 
son, Harold Gene Baker; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Ann Moore and husband Gerald, of 
Brusly, LA; two sons, Ronnie Chunn and wife Debbie, of Monroe, LA and 
Preston Baker and wife Kathy, of Holly Lake Ranch, TX; one sister, Rhoda E 
Brown, of Nevada; five grandchildren, Gene Mathews and wife Rachael, Melissa 
Miller, John Baker and wife Wendi, Morgan Moore and husband Russell, and 
Colby Chunn; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, and worked with the 
"Missionettes" from 1963 until 1984, loving every minute of her time with 
them. She was also actively involved with Morehouse Teen Challenge.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be John Baker, Colby Chunn, Gene 
Mathews, Russell Moore, Lee McKenzie, and John McKenzie.

There will be a time of visitation at Golden Funeral Home on Thursday, March 
24, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM.
