HELEN JEWEL CLEMENT

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Jewel Clement, 48, are scheduled for 2 p.m. 
today in the Van Avenue Church of God with the Reverends C.W. Kendall and David 
Sistrunk officiating, Burial will follow in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery at 
Rayville.

Mrs. Clement died yesterday at the Morehouse General Hospital following a long 
illness.

Survivors include her husband, Odis Clement of Rayville; two sons, James O. 
Clement and Bobby A. Clement, Sr. both of Bastrop; one daughter, Mrs. Gloria 
McGhee of Ashdown, Arkansas; a brother, Horace Washington of Watsonville, 
California; one sister, Mrs. Martha Morgan of Bastrop; and five grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Benjamin Garcia. Derwin Morgan Sr, Joe Armenie, 
Damon Collins, Danny Flanagan, and Dobie Williams
