COLLINS Graveside services for Mr. Carl Clyde Collins, Jr., age 78, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Christ Church Cemetery with Mr. Charles Sisk officiating.Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home with procession to graveside service following. Mr. Collins, a retired production scheduling and distribution superintendant with International Paper Company, passed away January 2, 2011. He was a member of Mt. Gerzim Masonic Lodge, Morehouse Country Club, and a member of the Monroe Scottish Rite. He was a member of the American Legion Post 51, also a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Carl Collins is survived by one son, Clyde Collins and wife Krista of Spanish Fort, AL; three step-daughters, Terri Young of Monroe, LA, Donna Moncrief and husband Mike of Monroe, LA, and Gerri Rushing and husband Tim Allen of Bastrop, LA; one sister, Mary Ann Collins of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, Payne Collins, Alyssa Winters, Brendan Winters, Jessica Rosenberg, Aaron Rosenberg, Heather Evans, Patrick Golden; several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Tull Collins. Serving as pallbearers will be: Charles Arant, Charles Sisk, Mike Parker, Jim Harrell, Kris McKoin, and Dr. Joe Reynolds.
