Bruce Culp officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Cooke, a retired Barber/Stylist, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. She loved her family and loved and supported her husband at the foxpen. Her homemade biscuits were always a hit. Mrs. Cooke was a member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church. She lived to help people and would help in any way possible. Mrs. Cooke enjoyed arranging flowers for the church and loved wood-working when she was able to enjoy it. She is survived by her husband, David Cooke; daughter, Kim Cooke of Vicksburg, MS; sons, Mike Cooke and wife Cheryl of Vicksburg, MS, Ricky Cooke of Bastrop; brothers, Ronnie Tillery of Grand Isle, LA, Steve Tillery of Bastrop; grandchildren, Makayla Cooke, Chase Cooke, Christopher Holt; great grandchildren, Nathan Cooke and Riley Cooke; mother-in-law, Patsy McIntyre; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lynn and Beth McIntyre and brother-in-law Deuce McIntyre; and several nieces and nephews.
