ROSSIE F. COOPER

Funeral services for Rossie F. Cooper, age 72, of Sicily Island were set for 2 
p.m. today at teh chapel of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday with Rev. Caine 
officiating.  Interment will follow at the Old Pine Hill Cemetery of Sicily 
Island.

 Mr. Cooper died Friday afternoon at the Catahoula Parish Hospital in Jonesville 
after a lengthy illness. He was a retired oil field worker.

 Survivors include one daughter. Mrs. Lillian Hallenberger  Texas; sis sisters; 
sis brothers including Willie Cooper of Bastrop and Robert E. Cooper of Oak 
Grove; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
