Stan Wyant officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM. Mrs. Cote, a resident of Bastrop, LA, and member of Faith Baptist Church, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of eighty-one. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grand babies and great-grand babies. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Philip Michael Cote; son, Michael Wayne Cote, and wife Amy; daughter, Rhonda Sue Chunn, and husband Chris; grandchildren, Amber Pruitt, Jaycee Andrews, Adam Cote Hart, Lyndi Simmons, Garrett Cote; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Delamar; sister-in-law, Eddie Delamar; brother-in-law, Thomas Childers; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cote is preceded in death by her parents, C.W. and Jessie Delamar; brothers, Billy Mack Delamar and George Delamar; sister, Ann Childers; and great-granddaughter, Georgia Andrews. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Childers, Billy Mack Delamar, Corey Delamar, Gerald Lester, Jason Bankston, Cody Smith, Tab Childers, Brian Childers.
