Funeral services for Mr. Joseph (Joe) Davis, 68, of Bastrop will be held on 

Friday, Jan. 21, 2001, at 1 p.m. at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church 

located on West Madison in Bastrop with the Rev. Steven Conley, pastor-

officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Montgomery 

Funeral Home in charge. Visitation has been set for Thursday, Jan. 11, at the 

Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel from 2 to 6 p.m.



Mr. Davis died Monday morning, Jan. 8, at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center 

in West Monroe following a brief illness.
