Kenneth Pack officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Day, a retired seamstress for Ditto Apparel, member of Trinity Assembly of God and former member of Riverside Baptist Church, passed away at her residence on Friday, November 9, 2018. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Belle” to her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother in law. Mrs. Day was actively involved in the family business “Day House Movers” for many years. Her favorite hobbies were reading, watching tv, working crossword puzzles and cooking. She was famous for her yeast rolls. Mrs. Day is survived by her children, Barbara Day Watt, and husband Kenneth, Kenneth Day, and wife Wendy, Donna Day Gregory, and husband Dewayne, Richard Day, and wife Hope; brothers, Andrew Burge and Robert Burge; grandchildren, Jimmy Watt, and wife Heather, Candy Watt Bulloch, and husband Scott, Steven Gregory, and wife Meaghan, Nicholas Day, and wife Taylor, Cody Gregory, and wife Lindsey, Ashlea Day, Taylor Marie Day, Adam Day, and girlfriend Dakota Middlebrooks, Savannah Bolton, and husband Billy; eleven great-grandchildren, and special sister-in-law, Lillian Cannon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. “Ricky” Day; parents, Edward and Frances Burge; brothers, Edward Burge, Jr.,and Lester Burge; sisters, Flora Stanley, Diane Halterman, and Maxine Burge. Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Watt, Nicholas Day, Cody Gregory, Adam Day, Scott Bulloch and Ben Rainey. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Gregory, Sean Smith and Brandon Chappell.
