Bastrop Daily Enterprise -  February 19, 2004 


Funeral services for Laura Charline Dean, 79 of Bastrop, will be held Friday, 

Feb. 20, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. James 

Moffett officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church 

Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 19 from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral 

Home. Dean, a retired florist and former owner of the Bastrop Flower Shop, she 

died Wednesday, Feb. 18 at her residence.



Dean was a charter member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and is survived by one 

daughter, Charlotte Morris and husband, Dennis of Atlanta, Texas; one son, 

Thomas Dean and wife, Caroline Sue of Monroe; one sister, Bess Womack of 

Vicksburg, Miss.; two grandchildren, Samantha Dean Howard and husband, Gil and 

Christy Clark and husband, Scott; and three great grandchildren, Casey Howard 

and Lauron and Ashley Clark.
