Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 5 - 7 PM, at Golden Funeral Home. Ms. DeBlieux, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, at the age of sixty-four. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ozet and Louis DeBlieux and maternal grandparents, Martish and Carlos Carter. She is survived by her parents Joy and W.V. DeBlieux; sister, Cindy Hendrix and husband Glen; brother, Larry DeBlieux and wife Tia; nieces and nephews, Chris Hendrix, Christina Hendrix, Jonathan Hendrix, Derek DeBlieux, Erin DeBlieux, Tyler Deblieux and wife Kelsey; and great nieces and nephews. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chris Hendrix, Steve Stephenson, Daniel Navarro, Bruce Craig, Whit Broussard, and David Bass. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the great staff of Morehouse General Hospital, Dr. John Coats, Dr. Wineberger of the Oncology Center of Monroe and special caregivers, Debbie Fortune, Alice Stokes, Kimberly Waters, Liz DeBlieux, Reola Bradshaw, Mary Hammack, and Marie Foster.
