LYNN SR. DEFOREST


Lynn "Pee Wee" DeForest, Sr. passed away on Wednesday October 15, 2025, at the 
age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Shirlene Morris DeForest; daughter, Cheri 
DeForest of White House, Tn; son, Lynn "Doyle" DeForest, Jr. (Ronda Reed) of New 
Orleans; grandchildren, Isabella DeForest Gautreau (Randen), Paxton DeForest 
(Conner Hefner), Anthony Mancada, Joleigh LeBlanc; great granddaughter, Eloise 
Gautreau; step-son, Dathan Phillips (Kandee) of West Monroe, step-daughter, 
Brittney Lataxes (Jeremy) of West Monroe; step-grandchildren, Maggie Phillips, 
Trent Phillips and Lillian Lataxes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Sarah Virginia Smith DeForest; 
brother Neal DeForest and sister-in-law Becky Pierce DeForest.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Union General 
Hospital in Farmerville.
