Jessie Elizabeth Delamar

Bastrop, La. - 

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Elizabeth Delamar, 91, were held at 3 p.m. 
Monday, August 25, 2008 at Faith Baptist Church in Bastrop with the Rev. Paul 
Carter officiating. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop 
under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation was held Sunday at 
Faith Baptist Church.


Mrs. Delamar, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008. 
She was a retired employee of the Office of Family Support and a member of 
Faith Baptist Church.


She is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Delamar; son, Billy Mack Delamar 
Sr.; her parents; four sisters, and two brothers.


She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Childers and husband Thomas of 
Crossett, Ark., and Sue Cote and husband Mike of Bastrop; two sons, George 
Delamar and wife Eddie of Bastrop, and Gary Delamar and wife Floye of Baton 
Rouge; twenty grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-
granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
