GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME - MAR 01, 2022
ROBERT DEROUEN

Funeral service celebrating the life of Robert "Bobby" DeRouen of West Monroe, 
LA will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, March 5, 2022, in the chapel of Griffin 
Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, with Rev. Randy Ray officiating.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, under the direction of 
Griffin Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends for visitation, Friday, March 4, 2022, from 5:00pm 
until 8:00pm, at the funeral home.



Robert "Bobby" DeRouen was born March 2, 1943, and passed from this life March 
1, 2022, at the age of 78.

Bobby loved dirt track racing, and hunting.

he proudly served in the United States Army for 13 years.



He is preceded in death by his parents, Eula and Henry DeRouen and three 
sisters, Flo DeRouen, Jenice Viator, and Auga DeRouen.



Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Shirley DeRouen, of West 
Monroe; son, Chance DeRouen and wife, Wendy of Columbia, SC., siblings, Sara 
Gallineau of Waycross, GA, Bonnie Segura of New Iberia, LA, and Connie Walker 
and husband, Kenwood of New Iberia, LA: also survived by two grandchildren, 
Raelynn DeRouen and Caden DeRouen.



Pallbearers serving include Darin Patrick, Ry Gaines, Gregory LeBlanc, Toby 
Walker, Darrin Denise, and Eddie Taylor.



Special thank you to Nikki Blondin, Latisha Powell, Sean Boudreaux and Ascend 
Hospice staff, friends, Melba, Pat, and Ann. A very special thanks to Christie 
Staples.
