Cal Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Dew, a homemaker, passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 at LeGrand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness. She was a resident of Bastrop and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was loved by everyone and had a beautiful smile. She is preceded in death by her parents, Beachum and Minnie Perry; husband, Oliver Acreman; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Jewel Dew; one daughter, Sue Dew of Virginia Beach, Va.; three sons, Kenneth Acreman and wife Glenda of Bastrop, Larry Acreman and wife Renee of Palestine, Texas, Ricky Dew and wife Melanie of Bastrop; sister, Dorothy Nell Russum of Pearl, Miss.; two grandchildren, Angel Cook and husband Mike, Lori Comstock and husband Richard; two great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cook and Hailey Cook.
