JAMES DONALD DODD

James Donald Dodd, born February 19, 1951, passed away February 2, 2011 and 
returned home to the Lord after a brief battle with cancer. 

He was born and raised in Bastrop before moving to Mesquite, Nev. in 2008, 
where he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mesquite where he was 
also a greeter.

James was preceded in death by his father James W. Dodd; and grandparents 
Franklin and Mildred Ford. He leaves behind his mother Frances; brothers 
Lesley and Gerald; and numerous nieces and nephews.

James was loved by all who met him, and for all who knew him we are better 
people. James, you will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at the First Baptist 
Church of Mesquite. Visitation will be held from 6- 8 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 
2001 at Virgin Valley Mortuary.

Donations would be appreciated to Mesquite Cancer Society . The family invites
