He died from complications during his recovery from recent brain surgery. Keith was born in Bastrop, LA on August 9, 1950 spending his entire life here never venturing far from home besides attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He was retired from the GM Guide Plant in Monroe, LA. Keith was an avid bow hunter and golfer- In fact, he still holds the course record at the Morehouse Parish Country Club with a score of 27 for 9 holes. Everyone who knew him also knows he was a huge LSU fan and even a founding member of the local Tiger Union as well as an avid Beatles music afficianado. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, "Big Max" and Alma Dollar, and two brothers, Ted and Dan Dollar. He is survived by a sister, Jan Claire Clay of Monroe and a brother, Max Dollar Jr. of Bastrop. Memorial Service will be held at 5PM at the Morehouse Country Club on Saturday, April 18, 2015. All attendees are encouraged to wear LSU attire in his honor.
