BASTROP, LOUISIANA 

Mr. Robert Camille Doyon, a retired heavy equipment operator, was born July 14, 
1941 at St. Johnsbury, Vermont to the late Camille Leon Doyon and Jeanette 
Fortin Doyon. Mr. Doyon passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Lagniappe 
Healthcare in Bastrop, Louisiana. Along with his parents Robert is preceded in 
death by a grandson, Dakota Doyon and a nephew, Travis Hawkins. Mr. Doyon was a 
Vietnam veteran and served in the United States Army. He is survived by his 
wife, Linda Knoles Doyon of Bastrop, and their children, Tommie Doyon and wife 
Amanda of Farmerville, Louisiana, Frank Doyon and wife Emily, Donald Doyon and 
wife Kristi, April Doyon, Wanda Doyon, all of Bastrop, Louisiana, James "Jelly" 
Doyon and his girlfriend Tammy of Atlanta, Georgia, and Edward Doyon of Marion, 
Louisiana. Mr. Doyon is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, Nathaniel 
Doyon, Nazalyn Doyon, Langston Doyon, Waylon Doyon, Ian Doyon, Hardy Doyon, 
Sarah Jane Doyon, Jason Doyon, Patrick Fife, Aaron Webb, Brady Webb, Peyton 
Webb, Kevin Doyon, Carly Jo Turnbow, Bryson Turnbow, Cameron Doyon, and Robert 
Doyon; five siblings, Norman Doyon of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Reggie Doyon of 
Sutton, Vermont, Anita Hawkins of Ocala, Florida, Donna Jenkins of Crossett, 
Arkansas, and Sylvia Stewart of Bastrop, Louisiana; and a host of nieces and 
nephews. A private family graveside will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery of 
Bastrop. The family will have a memorial gathering on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 
the home of Robert and Linda Doyon, 1115 Summerlin Lane, Bastrop, Louisiana 
beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the last person leaves. They extend an invitation 
to family and friends to come to a pot-luck meal and help them celebrate the 
life of Robert Doyon. You are encouraged to bring your lawn chairs and children 
are welcome.
