I.L. Yeager, officiating. Mrs. Durden died Saturday morning in Collinston at the home of her daughter Mrs. W.B. Norsworthy, where she had made her home since moving from Monroe a few years ago. The Rev. E.W. Corley, pastor of the Collinston Methodist Church assisted at the service and burial was in the Riverview Cemeteryin Monroe. Mrs. Durden had been in poor health for the last several years. She was interested in church affairs and was a member of the Collinston Woman's Society of Christian Service. Her chief hobby was working among flowers. Mrs. Durden is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Norsworthy of Collinston; three sons, Oscar and Yancey, of Monroe and Stanley of California; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Rayford Harkness, James Stewart, Benjamin Wade, Frank Durden, Yancey Durden Jr and Ronald Durden.
