Dr. L.H. McCollough and Rev. Wayne Younge officiated. Interment followed at Christ Church Cemetery, Bastrop, Louisiana under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Mr. Clifford "Butch" Ellard was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bastrop. He also was a member of the Bastrop Lions Club. He was a teacher with the Morehouse Parish School System before he retired. He was active in real estate for many years and was the owner of Ellard's Phil A Bag in Mer Rouge, Louisiana and Ellard's Super Mart in Collinston, Louisiana. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Ellard of Bastrop, Louisiana. Son and daughter in law, Jeff Ellard and Lisa Ellard of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Son and daughter in law, Matt Ellard and Donna Ellard of Benton, Louisiana. Granddaughters, Katherine and Caroline Ellard of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Grandsons, Jacob, Luke and Ben Ellard of Benton, Louisiana. Sister, Elsie Ellard Garrett of Bastrop, Louisiana. Pallbearers were Neal Adams, Ed White, Dean Loche, Marc Vereen, Mayo Prudhomme, James Bonsall, Joe Hinkie.
