Stan Wyant and Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Jones, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 11 AM service time, November 27 at Goldens. Mrs. Ferrell, A member of Faith Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she loved going out to eat, shopping and cooking for her family. She enjoyed playing Bunko with her friends and cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She shared special time with her sister and nieces going out to eat at restaurants. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ferrell of Bastrop, LA; grandson, Gabriel Morton; granddaughter, Kasey Morris and husband Shane of Bastrop, LA; great grandchildren, McKenzie Morris Goodson and husband Preston of Bastrop, LA, Tyler Morris of Bastrop, LA; great grandsons; Ryder Morton and Sawyer Morton both of Bastrop, LA; great great granddaughter, Kinley Rose Goodson of Bastrop, LA; brother, Willie Buffington of Shreveport, LA; sister, Allie Rainer of Monroe, LA; sisters-in-law, Lillie Herrington of Bonita, LA and Louise Petty and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ferrell is preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Pete” Ferrell; son, Steve Ferrell; grandson, Matthew Morton; her parents, three brothers and four sisters. Serving as pallbearers will be Frankie Herrington, Nick Herrington, Pete Blakeny, Brooks Johnson, Kevin Riles, John David Laing. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Malone, Steven Malone and Brian Malone.
