FOWLER Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mr. Robert C. Fowler 74, of Bastrop, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe. Rev. Tommy Nelson, Rev. Jimmy Fowler, and Rev. Larry White will be officiating. Interment to follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe. Mr. Fowler was born July 4, 1935 in Highlanddale, MS and died December 31, 2009 in Bastrop, LA. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, Past President of the Missouri Baptist Deaf Convention, Past President of the Missouri Senior Citizens, and former Moderator of the Agape Baptist Church of the Deaf. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Vlady Fowler, and two sisters Patsy Miller and Sue Fowler. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Fowler; five sons, Robert Clinton Fowler, Jr. of Shiloh, IL, Gerald Fowler of St. Hedwig, TX, Michael Fowler of West Point, MS, James (Petey) Fowler of Garland, TX, and Paul Fowler of West Point, MS; one step-son, Mike Brown of Sterlington, LA; two sisters, Jean Sizemore of Pheba, MS and Jo Grisham of Tupelo MS; two brothers, Jimmy Fowler of Laurel, MS and Tommy Fowler of Pheba, MS; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott Duke, Leon Guirlando, James Brownell, Lantis Oglesbee, Harry Trahan, and Lacy Brownell. Honorary pallbearers are Lowell McClendon, Josh Thomason, John Bruce, Nathan Hester, and grandsons. Memorials can be made to Crossroads Baptist Church Deaf Ministry Fund. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe.
