ROSELENE GILBREATH


Funeral services for Mrs. Roselene Gilbreath, age 86, will be held Friday, June 26,
2015, at 11 AM at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating.
Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral
Home.

Mrs. Gilbreath, a retired postal clerk, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in Mer
Rouge, LA. Mrs. Gilbreath was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and a member of the
Collinston Garden Club. Mrs. Gilbreath was a loving mother, the best cook in the
world. She was kind, generous, and loved giving to others. She was just a sweet
woman. Mrs. Gilbreath is preceded in death by her husband, Ivern Gilbreath; infant
son, David Lynn Gilbreath; grandson, Ashley Gilbreath; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Gray, and father, Carlton Ostteen, Sr.; and brother, Jerry Gray.

The family is survived by three daughters, Susie Walters of Thibodaux, LA, Debbie
Fontenot of Collinston, LA, Sherry Lane and husband David of Choudrant, LA; one son,
Wayne Gilbreath and wife Marilyn of Collinston, LA; two brothers, Carlton Ostteen
and wife Julie of Bastrop, LA, Charles Gray and wife Lorraine of Dunn, LA;
sister-in-law, Sue Gray of Kosciusko, MS; grandchildren, Tammie McCaa and fiance
Patrick, Brandon Gilbreath and wife Dawn, Scott Walters, Deena Nobles and husband
Keith, Brandi Gray; great grandchildren, Rob McCaa and wife Casey, Jabe, Gracie,
Blade, Glorie, Bowdy, Jaxx and River Gilbreath, Sean Nobles, Natalie Nobles, Russell
Walters, Austin Walters, Jordyn Gray; great great grandchild, McKinley McCaa; and a
special little dog, Scooter.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Gilbreath, Jabe Gilbreath, Blade Gilbreath,
Rob McCaa, Scott Walters, Russell Walters, and Sean Nobles. Honorary pallbearer will
be Lloyd Harrell.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10 AM until 11 AM at Harmony Baptist
Church.
